Job summary

Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to manage a lean supply system across clinical areas. You will stock inventory, serve as the primary liaison between Distribution & Logistics and clinical staff, and maintain requisitions, delivery verification, and price documentation.

You will also track back orders, lot numbers, expirations and recalls, support the two-bin Kanban system, and ensure accurate reporting for inventory integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 1 year of relevant experience.
• Familiar with Kanban inventory methods and inventory management concepts.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills in a clinical supply context.

Responsibilities

• Stock and manage inventory levels across assigned clinical departments.
• Serve as liaison between Distribution & Logistics and clinical staff to support operations.
• Maintain requisitioning records, delivery verification, invoice price confirmation, back-order status, and lot/expiration data.
• Support implementation and maintenance of the two-bin Kanban system and ensure documentation for replenishment.
