Job summary

TriHealth is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator to manage the patient visit from registration to transmitting visit information to employers and BWC representatives. You will ensure correct company and services are used, follow up on authorizations, and coordinate with billing and MCOs for timely payment.

Responsibilities include posting charges, preparing cash reconciliation, scheduling tests and referrals, and maintaining accurate paperwork for injury reports and client communications

Qualifications

• High School Degree.
• BLS certification.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills; proficient in spelling, grammar, typing, and Microsoft Office.
• Accurate data entry.
• 3–4 years experience in medical/physician office setting or customer service.

Responsibilities

• Accurately posts charges and initiates payment receipt.
• Sends date of service payment reports to Billing.
• Prepares cash reconciliation reports at the end of the shift for payments received.
• Assists with deposit reconciliation or makes daily/weekly bank deposits as directed.
• Coordinates with billing, MCOs, and employers for timely information and authorizations.
• Schedules patient appointments and coordinates referrals/testing as needed.
