Job summary

Chimes in Reading, PA is seeking a Clinical Support Specialist to assist our team with client communications and records management. You will handle intake calls, process referrals, verify insurance eligibility, and ensure accurate data entry in the electronic record.

This on-site role runs Monday to Friday 8:00 am–4:00 pm as part of the Crisis Intervention Program. A high school diploma and prior experience in medical or mental health office settings are required to join our dedicated team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in a medical or mental health care office setting or similar environment.
• Knowledge of medical billing and insurance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer the intake line during business hours.
• Process all new referrals and verify insurance eligibility.
• Transmit referral information to the appropriate person or service within the agency.
• Data entry of all referral information in the electronic record.
