Swope Health Services in Missouri seeks a Clinical Informatics Analyst to bridge clinical workflows with information systems, assessing current and future technology needs and guiding the implementation, training, and support of EHR tools to maximize frontline staff efficiency and quality of care. The role requires nursing insight, policy alignment, and collaboration with clinical and IT teams.

You will lead system changes, develop documentation, and generate reports to support patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Three to five (3-5) years of experience in healthcare required, preferably as a Registered Nurse.
• Medical terminology and understanding of workflows are critical
• Master’s degree in nursing, health informatics, or equivalent preferred
• Licensed RN perferred

Responsabilités

• Provides consultative services to customers and application and development teams as to workflow processes and technological solutions.
• Follows through to ensure final resolution of problems, recommending longer term solutions when appropriate and communicating back to the individual reporting the problem.
• Provide technical support, diagnosis of application errors and troubleshooting with system issues.
• Coordinates the changes in workflow process needing to be made with the system changes, specific to policy and practice standards and following change management protocols.
• Works with clinic staff and IT Department to design and develop clinical documentation based on workflow and regulatory standards.
• Assists in the maintenance and future planning in relation to the Super User Program.
• Assist in the testing and implementation of new applications and upgrades.
• Provides onboarding EHR training for providers and staff and collaborates with Clinical Nurse Educator for refresher training as needed.
• Provides follow up one on one sessions with providers within 3 months to identify workflow issues and assist with templates.
• Recommends innovative ideas for enhancements, additions, and modifications to improve existing systems.
• Researches patient data across multiple applications to resolve discrepancies and/or improve workflow.
• Utilizes tools to capture EHR data and compile into meaningful reports.
• Create detailed project plans for clinics with eCW go-live updates.
• Prepare, educate and provide technical support to clinic staff for new systems or devices.
• Facilitates meetings to reach consensus on the clinical record.
• Provides leadership to team when manager is unavailable.
• Data reporting activities including running reports and auditing data.
