Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis’s Institute for Informatics, Data Science and Biostatistics (I2DB) seeks a health informatics professional to develop and evaluate health IT applications supporting clinical and research teams.

You will analyze data requests, design and implement informatics solutions, and ensure data accuracy, with a flexible work environment including remote or hybrid options; Epic Certification is valued.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Epic Certification is preferred? No—Epic Certification is listed in Certifications/Professional Licenses.
Experience: 3 years relevant experience in health informatics or related field.
Experience with CDS, HIS and Medical Terminology is preferred.

Responsibilities

Develops, implements or evaluates health information technology applications to assist clinical and research staff with data collection and extraction.
Prepares estimates and feasibility analysis of data requests for principal investigators.
Analyzes and interprets information systems data to improve research and clinical services.
Designs, develops, tests, implements and evaluates informatics solutions to support patients, healthcare professionals and their information management.
Reviews code written by team members and ensures data accuracy.
