Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Three (3) years Nursing practice, quality improvement, clinical informatics or healthcare operations.
• Licensed to practice as an RN in South Carolina.
• In lieu of BSN, nursing diploma or Associate degree may be considered if enrolled in BSN/MSN within four years.
• A Master’s degree in a related field may be considered in lieu of BSN.

Responsibilities

• Bridge clinical practice and information technology to improve patient safety and outcomes.
• Participate as the Clinical Informatics representative in meetings and projects to optimize systems and implement new ones.
• Provide training and support to clinical staff on healthcare information technology.
• Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Uphold organizational standards and pursue growth in nursing informatics and project management.
• Communicate with stakeholders, gather requirements, and address concerns related to clinical informatics initiatives.
• Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot system issues and ensure data integrity and security.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
