Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a senior professional to lead policy development and maintenance for enterprise clinical EHR workflows across care settings, including Epic configurations and safety standards.

The role translates clinical, operational and regulatory requirements into actionable policies, coordinates with stakeholders across care settings, and guides adoption, governance and evaluation of AI-enabled capabilities with Epic and related platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of related clinical informatics, enterprise policy, Quality & Safety, patient safety, or healthcare technology assessment experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Experience with Epic configurations and familiarity with AI-enabled tooling (e.g., ambient documentation) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own policy development, maintenance, governance, and implementation for enterprise clinical workflows across care settings.
• Translate clinical, operational, and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable EHR policies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across care settings to ensure content is accurate and applicable.
• Partner with Epic stakeholders to support workflow standardization and enterprise policy alignment.
• Assess impact of workflow changes on policy and propose updates as needed.
• Facilitate stakeholder alignment to ensure policies reflect approved workflows and patient safety requirements.
• Provide policy expertise during workflow redesign, implementation, and adoption activities.
• Monitor and evaluate policy adherence post-implementation.
