Job summary

The University of Miami Hospital and Clinics Sylvester Cancer Center seeks a Full Time Clinical Pharmacist - IT Systems to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of pharmacy clinical information systems. The role liaises with the Epic IT team and drives safe, efficient medication-use workflows across pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities include system configuration, governance, testing, and user support, with emphasis on improving clinical content, order sets, and workflow

Qualifications

PharmD degree required and active licensure in good standing.
Minimum 3 years of relevant informatics experience in pharmacy.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

Liaise between Pharmacy, Epic, vendor partners, and clinical stakeholders.
Lead design and optimization of pharmacy clinical applications (Epic Beacon, Willow, etc.).
Gather user requirements and map them to system workflows.
Oversee governance of pharmacy order sets and chemotherapy protocols.
Coordinate system builds, testing, go-live, and issue resolution.
Support training and adoption of technology-enabled workflows.
Ensure compliance with safety and enterprise policies.
