Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Manager of Clinical Informatics 1 to lead EHR and HIT initiatives on-site for College Station and Brenham. You will coordinate with Information Systems and guide analysts and project teams in implementing complex workflows.

The role requires 4+ years in clinical and informatics settings, plus Epic and related informatics certifications. You will partner with IS and drive operational excellence in a hospital network environment.

Qualifications

• EDUCATION - Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification.
• EXPERIENCE - 4 Years of Experience in a clinical and informatics setting.
• CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Epic Certification or informatics related certs (CPHIMS, ANCC, EPIC).

Responsibilities

• Oversee EHR and HIT implementation and support as the local resource.
• Coordinate with Information Systems to manage operations for health IT projects.
• Lead College Station and Brenham sites on informatics initiatives.
• Serve as SME on end-to-end workflows and informatics impact.
• Coach analysts, coordinators, and specialists within the department.
• Lead workstreams with discovery, design sessions, and command center logistics.
• Present complex information to stakeholders and drive cross-team collaboration.
• Reorganize staff and priorities to improve response capacity and timelines.
