Job summary

Apicha Community Health Center seeks an Informatics Manager to administer clinical information systems and coordinate data used by patient care teams in a health center setting in Manhattan, NY. Responsibilities include installing and configuring CDSS-heavy workflows, troubleshooting issues, and providing end-user training for the EHR and related systems.

The role requires 3–5 years in an EMR environment, strong communication, and ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, human services, computer science, informatics or related field required.
• Advanced degree in healthcare informatics or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience with an EHR required; eClinicalWorks proficiency strongly preferred.
• Experience creating project plans and managing timelines; risk tracking.
• Experience using EHR data to support quality reporting and care improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead informatics initiatives and multidisciplinary teams to optimize clinical workflows.
• Administer and coordinate clinical information systems for patient care data.
• Provide end-user training and support on EHR applications and templates.
• Collaborate with IT to schedule EHR updates, upgrades and implementations.
• Oversee EHR maintenance and monitor end-user compliance with security roles.
• Manage EMR Support staff and provide direction and supervision.
