Job summary

Apicha Community Health Center in New York seeks an Informatics Manager to administer clinical information systems, coordinate patient data, and support care teams. You will lead EHR projects, provide end-user training, oversee workflow improvements, and supervise EMR support staff while collaborating with IT and clinical leadership. Strong communication, project management, and EHR experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, human services, computer science, informatics or related field required.
• Advanced degree in healthcare informatics or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience with an electronic health record, eClinicalWorks preferred.
• Experience creating project plans and managing timelines.
• Experience using EHR data to support quality reporting and improve patient outcomes.
• Knowledge of ICD-10/CPT and medical terminology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and time management.

Responsibilities

• Project management: plan scope and schedule for informatics projects and monitor risks.
• Training: develop onboarding plans and curricula for EHR workflows and updates.
• Informatics management: lead teams to implement new workflows in CDSS, templates, and order management.
• IT collaboration: coordinate EHR updates and ensure security access and performance.
• Staff management: supervise EMR Support Specialist and provide guidance.
