Job summary

The University Medical Center of El Paso seeks a Medical Informatics Analyst to bridge clinicians and IT, guiding EHR design, testing, implementation, and optimization of clinical technologies. You will partner with providers to assess workflows, translate needs into solutions, and support training and adoption to improve patient safety and care quality.

Minimum three years in healthcare IT with EHR experience; bachelor’s degree required, master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years of healthcare, clinical operations or health IT experience.
• Experience supporting EHRs and clinical workflows.
• Ability to translate clinical needs into system requirements.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between physicians, clinical staff and informatics leadership.
• Support design, testing, deployment, optimization of EHR and clinical tech.
• Evaluate workflows, identify technology needs, translate requirements.
• Assist with provider training and validate system enhancements.
• Promote technology adoption aligned with patient safety goals.
