TEKsystems is seeking a Cardiology Informaticist to consolidate cardiology practices into a single institute, standardize workflows, and implement Epic Cupid reporting. The role requires extensive cardiology experience in acute and ambulatory settings and hands-on support for providers.

The candidate will document workflows, perform observations, validate quality metrics, and drive provider efficiency initiatives. Travel is heavy (up to 80% onsite) with a fully remote work option.

Qualifications

• 4+ years supporting cardiology in an acute and ambulatory setting as a Principal Trainer, analyst, or informaticist with Epic certification or proficiency.
• Experience with at least 1 Epic Cupid and/or Cardiology structured reporting implementation.
• Experience with Epic's standard analytic tools (Reporting workbench, slicer dicer, and dashboards).
• Experience with Epic foundation workflows and facilitating workflow standardization.
• Experience with provider support/efficiency programs.

Description

Role #2: Cardiology Informaticist

In the process of aligning several cardiology practices into one Cardiology institute. This institute will be defining standard quality/performance metrics, which will require standard workflow definition. In addition, there are several technology requests by the institute that will require diligence (Epic Cardiology structured reporting) and provider workflow analysis. We are seeing a highly experienced clinical informaticist with experience supporting staff and providers with ambulatory and procedural workflows.

Role/Responsibility:

Document and facilitate workflow standardization using Epic's best practice workflows

Perform routine rounding and workflow observations as needed

Assist to define and facilitate validation of key quality/performance metrics (performing knowledge transfer to key operational leaders)

Assess and define and support execution of provider efficiency plan, to include efficient documentation workflows

Requirements:

They have cupid builders, need informatics or principle trainer, need help with structure reporting. Providers pushing back. Experience with latest and greatest Cupid workflows. Had some issues not doing procedures right

Certification is more nice to have but leaning towards having it. They want someone working as informatics that has supported cardiology function in last 2 years. Strongly elbow support.

Supporting invasive and non invasive cardiology. 75% travel since they will be working directly with providers, upgrade in 2 weeks

2 step interview process, can interview as early as Friday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $95.00/hr.
