Job summary

Tapestry 360 Health is seeking a Clinical Health Trainer in Chicago to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs for Medical Assistants and Care Team Coordinators, ensuring clinical excellence and adherence to standards.

The role supports the employee health program, maintains immunizations and safety compliance, and collaborates with nursing leadership to improve patient care quality. A CPR instructor and EMR expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• National Medical Assistant Certification (e.g., CMA, RMA, NCMA) required.
• CPR certification required.
• Associate degree in healthcare or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of Medical Assistant experience in ambulatory or community health setting required.
• Experience with AthenaOne EMR or similar system required.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive clinical competency and training program for MAs and the NIMAA program.
• Deliver hands-on, classroom, and virtual training for new and existing clinical staff on clinical procedures, infection control, documentation, and point-of-care testing.
• Partner with clinical leadership to develop and update policies, protocols, and workflows that improve patient care efficiency and quality.
• Conduct chart audits and competency evaluations to ensure compliance with standards.
• Serve as an AthenaOne EMR Super User and provide ongoing EMR training and troubleshooting support.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership on performance feedback, coaching, and development plans for clinical support staff.
• Maintain and track employee health records, ensuring immunization, TB, and annual physical requirements.
• Participate in organization-wide quality improvement initiatives and cross-departmental projects.
• Certified CPR Instructor responsible for planning and delivering Basic Life Support (BLS) training.
• Cross-training and support clinical operations at multiple practice locations.
• Collaborates with NIMAA and SNLC leadership to sustain, expand, and evaluate training models, clinical rotation experiences, and workforce development pipelines.
