Job summary

Comprehensive Community Health Centers, Inc. seeks a Clinic Staff Trainer (Certified Medical Assistant) for a temporary role. Under supervision, you will train clinic staff, support onboarding, and help maintain clinical workflows across departments.

You will assess competency, promote teamwork, and contribute to QA/PI efforts aligned with the center’s goals; collaboration with nursing and administrative teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an approved medical assistant program or nursing program.
• Possession of a valid CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) certification (Required)
• Preferably two or more years of medical assistant or nursing experience in an outpatient clinic with responsibility in administration.
• Training experience preferred.
• Experience in patient workflows.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding and annual CMA and LVN skills assessment/competency trainings; write reports and recommendations for additional training or probation if indicated.
• Proficient in existing front/back office workflows; provide recommendations and assist with implementation of new workflows.
• Provide hands-on training on the clinical floor to new and existing MAs; training covers workflows, processes, documentation practices and clinical care.
• Provide feedback on quality assurance and improvement and align with organizational goals and strategic plan.
• Participate in meetings and assist in development of policies and protocols for patient care.
• Promote teamwork to achieve clinical measures and targets.
• Identify training needs across roles/departments and train to achieve care goals.
• Work with multiple departments to achieve organizational, operational, and administrative objectives.
