Job summary

US Tech Solutions in Florham Park, NJ is seeking a Medical Assistant or LPN for a 3+ month contract. Right to Hire. Compensation: $20-$30 per hour.

You will assist the physician and nursing staff, obtain and record data, perform venipuncture, and prepare specimens for outside labs. You’ll also take vital signs and support front desk tasks within the Medical Department, including appointment scheduling and EMR input. CPR/AED certification is required or willing to obtain within 6 weeks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or LPN program.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant or LPN is required.
• Three+ years of MA/LPN experience preferred; ambulatory care and corporate environment a plus.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record data; enter information into EMR.
• Venipuncture and prep of lab specimens for outside lab vendor.
• Perform testing for periodic examinations (EKG, urine dipstick, etc.).
• Take vital signs and assist providers during examinations.
• Administer flu vaccine and other injections as directed.
• Front desk duties: greet visitors, schedule appointments, maintain records.
• Maintain logs for sterilization equipment and fridge temps; stock supplies.
• Order medical supplies using ARIBA P2P.
