Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of seven years progressive experience in a hospital setting.
• CBET certification from International Certification Commission preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the repair and maintenance activities performed by clinical engineering staff.
• Supervises and coaches the clinical engineering staff on an ongoing basis.
• Inspects completed work; assures that work is completed properly.
• Verifies reported equipment problems and determines the best resolution, including engaging outside service providers.
• Oversees preventive maintenance on equipment and ensures functionality.
• Develops and implements process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
