Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or biomedical engineering or equivalent work experience.
• BMET certification or equivalent preferred.
• Experience supervising direct reports and leading teams in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and administer the Biomedical department.
• Provide clinical support and assist in repairs of biomedical equipment.
• Coordinate training, in-services and vendor services.
• Oversee purchasing, pre-purchase evaluations and service contracts.
• Monitor operating budgets and participate in hiring, training and performance evaluations.
• Participate in 24-hour on-call rotations.
