Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a Clinical Informatics Support professional to assist the Clinical Informatics Director/Assistant Director and provide system support to physicians and staff. The role involves retraining, workflow analysis, and documenting procedures to improve electronic health record usage.

You will test upgrades, assist with EHR implementation, and ensure data integrity across the system, working in an ambulatory setting with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Two-year degree preferred but not required.
• Epic EHR or comparable EHR experience required.
• Use of MS Office tools.
• One year experience in an Ambulatory setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Clinical Informatics Director/Assistant Director.
• Provide system support to physicians and staff including retraining, problem identification and workflow review; provide physician training.
• Build supporting documents from specs and outlines provided by physicians and clinical staff following departmental standards.
• Analyze workflow and determine best methods for automating office processes.
• Responsible for testing and implementation plans for all EHR upgrades; assist with application and integrated system testing.
• Maintain the EHR system related to record updates and overall system functionality.
