Job summary

The Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa's Human Services – Revenue Cycle division is hiring a Clinical Application Specialist onsite. You will implement and support multi-service software for electronic health records, customize site parameters, and address integration with related systems.

You will train clinical staff on current and new software features, coordinate with MIS and program managers, and ensure secure, timely, accurate handling of records.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of information technology concepts, principles, methods, and practices to manage and troubleshoot clinic/human services application programs.
• Familiarity with health care laws, regulations and standards such as HIPAA.
• Experience serving as a liaison between groups and coordinating software implementation projects.
• Advanced computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the implementation and support of multi-service software packages that automate capture of clinical encounter information and its retrieval.
• Manages customization of site parameters and addresses integration with other software within EHR system.
• Assists in implementing new software products covering electronic health records across functions.
• Coordinates with staff and other specialists to implement integrated packages and ensure smooth operations where scope overlaps.
