Job summary

The Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa is seeking a Medical Assistant/EMT/LPN to join our Human Services – Medical Services team. The role supports clinical operations onsite at the Min No Aya Win Center, handling patient intake, charting, and exam preparation.

Candidates should have MA/EMT/LPN credentials, BLS certification, and clinic experience. A $2,500 sign-on bonus with a two-year commitment is offered along with competitive wages.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Medical Assistant, EMT, or LPN training program is required.
• Current licensure as LPN or certification as an EMT or MA is required and must be maintained for the duration of employment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers is required and must be maintained throughout employment.
• One-year experience in a clinic setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and obtain chief complaint, vital signs, and prepare for exam.
• Chart information following proper charting procedures.
• Inform provider when patient is ready to be seen and assist as requested.
• Maintain patient flow and alert providers to problems.
