We are currently seeking a Clinical Educator who has a passion for teaching and will be responsible for educational and performance improvement tasks utilizing their clinical expertise.

Clinical Educator Requirements:
- BSN required
- Master’s Degree preferred
Clinical Educator Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in health care setting
- Home Health Care experience preferred
- Knowledge of HomeCare HomeBase or PointCare preferred
Clinical Educator Responsibilities:
- As a key leader, you'll oversee orientation, clinical training, continuing education, and ongoing professional development initiatives for nursing and clinical staff—ensuring they are equipped with the skills and support needed to deliver exceptional patient care
- Promotes cross training to enhance productivity and maximize efficiency
- Serves as a resource to interpret home care issues and agency policies and to provide information regarding current, proposed, legislation or regulations
- Keeps abreast of the latest developments in community health. Pursues continuing education programs, as appropriate.
- Supervises the plan and provision of education on special topics to group and individuals as needed through the agency.
- Reviews all documentation related to HCHB quality reports - employee occurrence reports, quality measures, and utilization review.
- Acts as a resource to the agency staff for PI related activities.
- Acts as a resource to staff regarding agency policies and procedures.
- Effectively communicates to the staff their responsibility concerning quality assurance, safety and departmental policies.
- Ensures staff is up to date with annual requirements such as CPR, Flu, PPD.
- Coordinates scheduling and completion with all required education of staff.
- Coordinates yearly and as needed audits of sub-contracted agencies.
- Monitors and tracks new hire competency completions to ensure adherence to educational standards and regulatory compliance, training progress and precepting participation.
- Serves as a key clinical resource for staff, providing expert guidance on practice-related issues to support informed decision-making and enhance patient care
- Implements clinical competency assessments for all clinical staff
- Manages CPR training programs, including scheduling sessions and coordinating with Schedulers for minimal to none scheduling conflicts.
