Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a Student Placement Coordinator to manage the placement of students in health-related fields across the system. You will initiate contracts, guide students through clinical experiences, and follow up to identify process improvements.

Responsibilities include ensuring smooth information flow between departments, supporting administrative functions, and collaborating with multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree plus 6 years in health-related field OR Bachelor's in business/health-related field.
• Experience in healthcare preferred; effective written and spoken communication required.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize, and think strategically while managing multiple initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Establish efficient processes for student placement programs and coordinate with colleges/universities.
• Set measurable goals, track progress, and adjust as needed.
• Keep information organized and accessible; communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with local/regional colleges and Mount Carmel.
• Leverage technology to improve processes and candidate experiences.
