Zusammenfassung

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a Hospital Educator to plan, develop, and coordinate in-service education for staff in a hospital setting. You will partner with leadership to assess educational needs, devise effective plans, and support clinical rotations and student engagement in the local community.

You will lead staff training, coordinate a preceptor program, and ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards.

Qualifikationen

• Active clinical license required to practice and teach in the hospital setting.
• CPR certification required; RN with CRRN preferred.
• Education to obtain and maintain licensure in applicable state.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate staff completion of BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Manage equipment and skills stations for BLS/ACLS training.
• Assist with coordination of clinical rotations and student orientation packets.
• Train staff in new hire orientation and hospital-wide orientation.
• Support staff training initiatives and development.
• Coordinate the preceptor program for student placements.
• Facilitate implementation of new competencies and equipment.
• Provide education on compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Ensure Joint Commission and other regulatory training requirements are met.
