Job summary
Children's Hospital Colorado seeks a Professional Development Specialist to design learner-centered education for clinical teams. You will translate complex clinical content into engaging learning experiences across modalities, including e-learning and simulations.
You will lead instructional design projects, collaborate with SMEs and educators, and optimize content within the Cornerstone LMS to support high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
- MSN or BSN with advanced degree in Education as applicable.
- Five years of pediatric clinical experience and teaching experience.
- Three years of education program development and evaluation.
- Current Colorado RN license and BLS/CPR on hire.
Responsibilities
- Design learning experiences using evidence-based instructional design principles.
- Develop e-learning, blended, and instructor-led training materials.
- Collaborate with SMEs, leaders, and teams to align curricula with standards.
- Support LMS administration: course deployment, assignments, evaluation, reporting.
- Lead development of competency-based education and performance support resources.
- Mentor and support professional development across divisions.
