Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare seeks a Clinical Education Coordinator to lead unit-based clinical learning and training for imaging residents across CT, MRI, Ultrasound and related modalities.

This role directs education activities within Imaging Services, partners with the Manager of Imaging Clinical Education, and recruits and coaches residents while monitoring program effectiveness to ensure guidelines are followed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or Nuclear Medicine program is required.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• 3 years of imaging technologist experience in CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Interventional Radiology or Mammography is required.
• Previous educator experience is preferred.
• Previous lead or supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver unit-based clinical learning and training of imaging residents in their modality.
• Direct, coordinate, and oversee education-related work within Imaging Services.
• Ensure learning and development activities follow established roles and guidelines.
• Recruit, train, and coach imaging residents in partnership with the Manager of Imaging Clinical Education.
• Monitor and report on unit-based activities and effectiveness.
• Directly report to the Manager of Clinical Education - Imaging.

Ensures that the entity's unit-based learning and development activities follow established roles and guidelines. In partnership with the Manager of Imaging Clinical Education, the coordinator will recruit, train, and coach imaging residents. Consistently monitors and routinely reports on unit-based activities and effectiveness. Directly reports to the Manager of Clinical Education - Imaging.

• NMTCB - Nuclear Medicine Tech Upon Hire Required
