Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Education Coordinator to lead unit-based clinical learning for imaging residents. You will coordinate education activities within Imaging Services and partner with the Manager of Imaging Clinical Education to recruit, train, and coach residents.

You will monitor activities and report on effectiveness, directly supporting imaging education goals. The role requires ARRT/ARDMS/NMTCB and BCLS certifications, a radiologic technology or sonography program, and

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or Nuclear Medicine program is required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of imaging technologist experience in CT, MRI, Ultrasound, IR or Mammography.
• Previous educator or lead/supervisory experience preferred.
• ARRT, ARDMS, or NMTCB certification and BCLS are required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver unit-based clinical learning and training for imaging residents.
• Direct, coordinate and oversee education-related work within Imaging Services.
• Recruit, train and coach imaging residents in partnership with the Manager of Imaging Clinical Education.
• Monitor, report on unit-based activities and effectiveness, and ensure guidelines are followed.

Directs, coordinates, and oversees the education-related work within Imaging Services. Ensures that the entity's unit-based learning and development activities follow established roles and guidelines. In partnership with the Manager of Imaging Clinical Education, the coordinator will recruit, train, and coach imaging residents. Consistently monitors and routinely reports on unit-based activities and effectiveness. Directly reports to the Manager of Clinical Education - Imaging.

Licenses and Certifications

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Must be ARRT certified with advance certification in area of educational instruction, i.e. (CT) (MR) (M) (VI) Upon Hire Required or
• ARDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography Upon Hire Required or
• NMTCB - Nuclear Medicine Tech Upon Hire Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
