Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare seeks a Clinical Education Coordinator within Imaging Services to lead unit-based clinical learning for CT, MRI, ultrasound and other modalities. You will recruit, train, and coach imaging residents, coordinate education activities, and monitor program effectiveness, reporting to the Manager of Clinical Education - Imaging.

This role requires ARRT/ARDMS/NMTCB certifications, ARRT advanced in education, and 3 years imaging technologist experience, with supervision experience

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or Nuclear Medicine program.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of unit-based clinical learning and training of imaging residents in their modality.
• Directs, coordinates, and oversees education-related work within Imaging Services.
• Recruit, train, and coach imaging residents in partnership with the Manager of Imaging Clinical Education.
• Monitor and report on unit-based activities and effectiveness.

Education

Directs, coordinates, and oversees the education-related work within Imaging Services. Ensures that the entity's unit-based learning and development activities follow established roles and guidelines. In partnership with the Manager of Imaging Clinical Education, the coordinator will recruit, train, and coach imaging residents. Consistently monitors and routinely reports on unit-based activities and effectiveness. Directly reports to the Manager of Clinical Education - Imaging.

Qualifications

Education

Work Experience

• 3 years of imaging technologist experience in CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Interventional Radiology or Mammography Required
• Previous educator experience Preferred
• Previous lead or supervisory experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Must be ARRT certified with advance certification in area of educational instruction, i.e. (CT) (MR) (M) (VI) Upon Hire Required or
• ARDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography Upon Hire Required or
• NMTCB - Nuclear Medicine Tech Upon Hire Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
