Oak Street Health is seeking a Medical Scribe to support primary care providers with real-time documentation, coding, and after-visit summaries. You will observe visits, document in structured notes, and help ensure accurate patient records.

Ideal candidates bring knowledge of medical terminology, strong listening skills, and the ability to learn new workflows quickly. This is a full-time in-clinic role requiring HIPAA compliance and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology and common medications.
• Prior clinical experience, including shadowing or volunteering, preferred.
• HIPAA compliance and US work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Document patient encounters and assign CPT/ICD-10 codes.
• Observe providers in exam rooms and document in structured notes.
• Prepare after-visit summaries and coordinate with the care team.
