Qualifications

Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • BSN
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Homecare, Hospice, Home Infusion, or related fields
  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred:

  • Master's Degree

Licenses and Certifications Required:

  • NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License
Responsibilities

The manager is responsible for overseeing the clinical services program, ensuring optimal performance of daily operations, compliance with regulations, and achievement of organizational goals.

  • Lead clinical service programs, supervise staff, and ensure quality care and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary services, manage referrals, consult with Medical Directors, and ensure appropriate levels of care.
  • Recruit and manage clinical staff, develop staffing plans, and be available for after-hours support.
  • Develop orientation materials and oversee staff competencies.
  • Manage budgets, monitor utilization, and ensure productivity and financial targets are met.
  • Oversee Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives, conduct reviews, and implement improvements.
  • Plan community educational programs, represent the program publicly, and participate in community outreach.
  • Collaborate with payors, physicians, and hospitals to ensure coverage and establish protocols.
  • Ensure legal, regulatory, accreditation compliance, and financial stability.
  • Conduct staff meetings, provide ongoing education, and address team member concerns.
  • Handle patient grievances promptly and maintain patient satisfaction scores.
  • Coordinate with organizational leadership on policies and procedures.
  • Maintain low staff turnover and perform other assigned duties.
  • Adhere to organizational standards and competencies.
  • Physical requirements include lifting and standing for specified durations.
