Job summary

JAG Physical Therapy is seeking a Clinical Director to oversee outpatient rehabilitation operations, ensure regulatory and health-care compliance, and lead patient evaluation and treatment. The role includes supervising clinicians, managing budgeting, and driving continuous improvement in service quality.

Ideal candidates have a doctoral degree preferred, active professional license, CPR, and 3+ years of outpatient experience with 2+ years in supervision or program development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree required; Doctorate preferred.
• Professional license/certification required.
• Valid CPR license.
• Minimum of three years’ clinical outpatient experience and two years’ clinical supervision or clinical program development experience preferred.
• Knowledge of EMR system.
• Able to troubleshoot, decisive, action oriented; approachable.
• Team player with strong communication and conflict-management skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet census goals for the clinic and clinicians; monitor KPIs and patient volume.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws in collaboration with People Operations.
• Oversee facility maintenance and housekeeping of the clinic.
• Review and approve timecards through ADP in line with wage regulations.
• Lead interview/hiring for clinical and admin roles in coordination with HR.
• Train and onboard clinical staff; conduct ongoing performance evaluations.
• Address performance problems and escalate to HR when appropriate.
• Monitor staff compliance and patient satisfaction metrics.
• Manage monthly budget for visits, labor, and clinical supplies.
• Oversee documentation audits and Medicare compliance; monitor MMR cap.
