Job summary

JAG Physical Therapy in Nutley, NJ is seeking a Clinical Director to provide full operational oversight of our outpatient rehabilitative clinic. You will supervise clinical and admin staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead patient evaluations and treatments to drive high-quality care.

The role requires 3+ years outpatient experience with supervision or program development, strong EMR knowledge, and excellent team leadership and customer service abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree required; Doctorate preferred.
• Minimum of three years’ clinical outpatient experience and two years’ clinical supervision or clinical program development experience preferred
• Knowledge of EMR system
• Able to troubleshoot, decisive, action oriented; approachable
• Team player and effective at building teamwork and maintaining composure in conflict
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Meet census goals of the clinic and each clinician; review scorecards weekly.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws in collaboration with People Operations.
• Oversee facility maintenance and operations.
• Review and approve timecards through ADP in line with exempt/non-exempt rules.
• Participate in interview/hiring with HR and lead onboarding of clinical staff.
• Provide ongoing evaluation of performance and coaching as needed.
• Monitor patient satisfaction and address low net promoter scores.
• Monitor budget for visits, labor, and supplies.
• Ensure Medicare compliance and documentation audits are up to date.
• Manage physician referrals and scheduling of clinical staff.
