Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in South Bend, IN, is seeking a Clinical Director for our Detox and Residential treatment facility. You will provide daily clinical leadership, supervise the team, ensure program execution, and maintain high-quality documentation ensuring a recovery-oriented environment.

The role requires a Master’s degree (or higher) and a strong track record in supervisory roles within hospital or residential settings; licensure to practice in Virginia (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) is noted.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (or higher) in related field required.
• 5 years’ supervisory experience in hospital/residential setting preferred.
• 3 years’ experience in chemical dependency/dual diagnosed clients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily clinical leadership and supervision to facility to ensure smooth daily function.
• Ensure full execution of the Avenues clinical program roadmap.
• Cultivate and maintain a skilled, effective clinical treatment team, providing consistent oversight, support, and professional development.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, delivering a warm, recovery-oriented atmosphere.
• Ensure impeccable and timely client documentation, collaborating with Utilization Review as necessary.

What You’ll Do

• Provide daily clinical leadership and supervision to facility to ensure smooth daily function
• Ensure full execution of the Avenues clinical program roadmap
• Cultivate and maintain a skilled, effective clinical treatment team, providing consistent oversight, support, and professional development
• Oversee client engagement and morale, interacting with every client and fostering a warm, encouraging, recovery - oriented atmosphere
• Ensure impeccable and timely client documentation, collaborating with Utilization Review as necessary

What We’re Looking For

• Master’s degree (or higher) in related field preferred
• 5 years’ supervisory experience in hospital/residential setting preferred; 3 years’ experience in chemical dependency/dual diagnosed clients
• Current licensure necessary to practice as Clinical Director in Virginia (LCSW, LPC, LMFT)
