Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking a Clinical Director for the Baton Rouge facility. You will provide daily clinical leadership, supervise the treatment team, and ensure the clinical program roadmap is fully executed to support recovery for clients.

Preferred candidates hold a Master’s degree with 5 years of supervisory experience in hospital or residential settings and current Louisiana licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT). This role emphasizes program integrity and client-focused care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree (or higher) in related field preferred.
• 5 years' supervisory experience in hospital/residential setting preferred.
• Current licensure to practice as Clinical Director in Louisiana (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily clinical leadership and supervision to facility to ensure smooth daily function.
• Ensure full execution of the clinical program roadmap.
• Cultivate and maintain a skilled clinical treatment team with oversight and development.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, fostering a warm, recovery-oriented atmosphere.
• Ensure impeccable and timely client documentation, collaborating with Utilization Review as necessary.

What You'll Do

• Provide daily clinical leadership and supervision to facility to ensure smooth daily function
• Ensure full execution of the Avenues clinical program roadmap
• Cultivate and maintain a skilled, effective clinical treatment team, providing consistent oversight, support, and professional development
• Oversee client engagement and morale, interacting with every client and fostering a warm, encouraging, recovery - oriented atmosphere
• Ensure impeccable and timely client documentation, collaborating with Utilization Review as necessary

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree (or higher) in related field preferred
• 5 years' supervisory experience in hospital/residential setting preferred; 3 years' experience in chemical dependency/dual diagnosed clients
• Current licensure necessary to practice as Clinical Director in Louisiana (LCSW, LPC, LMFT)
