Job summary

Bloom Behavioral Health (Bloom at PPRC) seeks a Clinical Director to provide strategic leadership of the clinical services and to maintain Joint Commission Accreditation standards, quality, supervision, and documentation across care settings.

You will partner with the CEO and senior leaders to strengthen clinical systems, develop staff, improve patient access and outcomes, and align operations with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or another behavioral health discipline from an appropriately accredited institution.
• Current independent behavioral health license in the State of Ohio appropriate to the position.
• Minimum five years of post-graduate behavioral health experience, including demonstrated clinical supervision or leadership experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in assessment, treatment planning, clinical documentation, crisis intervention, risk management, professional ethics, confidentiality, and scope-of-practice requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and data-informed decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the clinical department and establish clear standards for clinical practice, supervision, treatment planning, documentation, client engagement, and continuity of care.
• Provide oversight and support to clinical staff ensuring supervision, case consultation, competency development, and performance follow-up occur consistently and are appropriately documented.
• Serve as a clinical resource for complex cases, treatment barriers, clinical risk, crisis response, mandated reporting, and appropriate levels of care.
• Participate in recruitment, selection, onboarding, retention, and professional development of clinical staff and interns.
• Assess clinical staffing, capacity, and caseload distribution and recommend adjustments to support quality service delivery and organizational sustainability.
