Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Surgicare - Dallas is seeking a Clinical Director to lead daily operations of the center's clinical departments and drive process improvements for efficiency and patient experience. You will report to the ASC Administrator and collaborate on policy development, credentialing, safety, and performance reviews.

Ideal candidates hold a TX RN license, BSN or higher, 5+ years OR/CC experience, and at least 2 years supervising in outpatient surgery, with strong English

Qualifications

• RN license in TX (Current TX RN license)
• BSN or higher required
• 5+ years OR/CC experience
• 2+ years supervisory experience in outpatient surgery
• BLS and ACLS certifications held
• Strong English communication (verbal and written)
• Ability to collaborate with physicians, staff, patients and others

Baylor Scott & White Surgicare - Dallas is looking for a Clinical Director to join the team!

Clinical Director at Baylor Scott & White Surgicare - Dallas:

The Ambulatory Surgical Services Clinical Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the center’s clinical departments and implements process initiatives to improve efficiency of services and patient experience. The Clinical Director of Ambulatory Surgery Center will report to the ASC Administrator and will collaborate with them to promote fiscal accountability, develop and revise policies, and evaluate staff performance. The Outpatient Surgical Center Clinical Director will oversee staff credentialing, preventative safety measures, risk management duties, and use their clinical and leadership experience to enhance patient care and improve clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a professional school of Nursing.
• Professionals with a BSN or higher degree will only be considered.
• Current license as a TX Registered Nurse.
• Current certification in BLS and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
• At least five years operating room/critical care experience.
• At least two years supervisory experience in the outpatient surgery area.
• Good command of the English language, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work well with physicians, employees, patients and others.
• The knowledge, skills, and abilities of a Staff Nurse are required for this position.
