The role leads PACU operations, collaborates with ASC leadership on policy and staffing, and emphasizes credentialing, safety, and performance evaluation to enhance patient care outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of practice required.
• BSN or higher degree completed.
• Minimum 2–3 years of proven clinical management experience.
• Experience in supervision and program management.
• Solid budgeting, resourcing and performance evaluation knowledge.
• Familiarity with clinical standards and regulations (ISO).
• Proficient with MS Office and patient management software.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities in surgery settings.
• Understanding of aseptic technique and implementation.

Clinical Manager at Baylor Scott & White Surgicare - Dallas:

The Clinical Manager responsible for the day-to-day operations of the operating room and implements process initiatives to improve the efficiency of services and patient experience. Oversees all clinical operations of the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. The Clinical Manager of Ambulatory Surgery Center will report to the ASC Administrator and will collaborate with them to promote fiscal accountability, develop and revise policies, and evaluate staff performance. The Outpatient Surgical Center Clinical Manager will oversee staff credentialing, preventative safety measures, risk management duties, and use their clinical and leadership experience to enhance patient care and improve clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a professional school of Nursing.
• Professionals with a BSN or higher degree
• Current RN license in the state
• Minimum of two to three years proven experience as a clinical manager or other managerial position
• Experience in clinical supervision and program managementSolid understanding of budgeting, resourcing and performance evaluation procedures
• Excellent knowledge of standards (e.g. ISO) and regulations for the clinical field
• Proficient in MS Office and computer systems (e.g. patient management software)
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Exceptional organizational and leadership skillsto surgery procedures and management of the surgical patient
