Baylor Scott & White Surgicare - Dallas is seeking a Clinical Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the operating room and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit, implementing process improvements to enhance patient experience.

The role reports to the ASC Administrator and will collaborate to promote fiscal accountability, develop policies, and evaluate staff performance. It will also oversee credentialing and risk management to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree and current RN license.
• BSN or higher preferred.
• 2–3 years as clinical manager or similar role.
• Experience supervising clinical programs.
• Budgeting, resource planning and performance evaluation knowledge.
• Familiar with ISO standards and clinical regulations.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Understanding of aseptic technique implementations.

Baylor Scott & White Surgicare - Dallas is looking for a Clinical Manager to join the team!

The Clinical Manager responsible for the day-to-day operations of the operating room and implements process initiatives to improve the efficiency of services and patient experience. Oversees all clinical operations of the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. The Clinical Manager of Ambulatory Surgery Center will report to the ASC Administrator and will collaborate with them to promote fiscal accountability, develop and revise policies, and evaluate staff performance. The Outpatient Surgical Center Clinical Manager will oversee staff credentialing, preventative safety measures, risk management duties, and use their clinical and leadership experience to enhance patient care and improve clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a professional school of Nursing.
• Professionals with a BSN or higher degree
• Current RN license in the state
• Minimum of two to three years proven experience as a clinical manager or other managerial position
• Experience in clinical supervision and program management
• Solid understanding of budgeting, resourcing and performance evaluation procedures
• Excellent knowledge of standards (e.g. ISO) and regulations for the clinical field
• Proficient in MS Office and computer systems (e.g. patient management software)
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Exceptional organizational and leadership skillsto surgery procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understands principles of aseptic technique and their implementation
