Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian licensed in Ohio state.
• Prior clinical experience required; knowledge of food preparation, safety and sanitation.
• Experience teaching and counseling nutrition therapy.
• Excellent written and verbal presentation skills; ability to explain detailed information to diverse populations.
• Able to accurately take and record measurements and readings.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutrition counseling, care plans, nutrition assessments, and education for diverse populations.
• Assess nutritional needs and develop nutrition care plans for patients.
• Screen patients for nutritional risk.
• Provide diet and drug interaction instructions.
• Attend care conferences to address patient nutrition needs.
• Document nutritional needs for high‑risk patients in a timely manner incl. holidays and weekends.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Participate in mandatory in-service meetings (e.g., TB testing, safety, HIPAA).
