Job summary

Elior North America is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team at Kane Dietitians in Pittsburgh. You will assess patients' nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and enhance quality of life in line with patient goals.

You will educate the care team, ensure compliance with practice standards, and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives within the dining and nutrition program. A relevant license and ongoing CE requirements are expected.

Qualifications

• CDR exam passed or eligible per program requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to healthcare team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Adhere to Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining and nutrition.
• Participate in development, review, and revision of quality improvement programs.
