Job summary

Elior North America seeks a registered dietitian to join our healthcare team in Kane Dietitians, Pittsburgh. You will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and improve quality of life aligned with patient goals. Responsibilities include collaborating with care teams and ensuring regulatory standards are met.

Must have CDR exam and licensure, 75 hours CE every five years, and ability to educate others. Healthcare/Long-term care experience preferred with a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• CDR exam passed or eligible per Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments and care planning.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participate in development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
