Job summary

Elior North America’s Cura-Hospitality brand is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian to join the healthcare team at Kane Dietitians in Pittsburgh. You will assess patients’ nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and collaborate with the care team to support quality of life aligned with goals.

This full‑time onsite role requires licensure, ongoing education, and a commitment to standards of practice within a hospital/long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Passed the national examination by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years, in accordance with the CDR.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments in setting up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participate in the development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
