Job summary
Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Registered Dietitian to oversee clinical nutrition services in a long-term care setting.
The role emphasizes compliant, evidence-based care, collaboration with medical teams, and flexible scheduling to support facility needs. You will assess residents' nutrition, develop care plans, and provide education to residents, families, and staff while ensuring CMS/state requirements are met.
Qualifications
- Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Certification/License in good standing within the state of practice.
- Knowledge of state survey processes and compliance with nutrition care regulations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
- COVID-19 vaccination policies as required by state/local/customers.
Responsibilities
- Assess clinical nutrition needs and document plans in the EMR.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on findings.
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve health outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to CMS, State, and Federal regulations and company standards.
- Provide coverage in multiple buildings as needed.
- All other duties as assigned.
