Job summary

Cura Hospitality in Pittsburgh is seeking an experienced registered dietitian to join our healthcare team. You will identify and assess the nutritional needs of patients/residents, initiate interventions to achieve and maintain nutritional status, and collaborate with the care team to enhance quality of life.

Must pass the CDR national exam or meet eligibility, complete 75 hours of continuing education every five years, and hold state licensure or certification; teaching others about nutrition

Qualifications

• Passed the national exam by the CDR or eligible per Academy requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulations for comprehensive assessments and care planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to develop procedures related to dining and nutrition.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement programs.
