Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking an experienced registered dietitian to join our healthcare team in Pittsburgh. You will assess the nutritional needs of patients/residents, initiate interventions, and collaborate with care teams to improve nutrition and quality of life. You will follow Academy standards and participate in CQI programs while educating staff and residents.

Eligible candidates must have CDR exam eligibility, ongoing CE, and state licensure. Join John J.

Qualifications

Must have passed the national CDR exam or be eligible per Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
Licensed or certified per state requirements.
Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
Actively participate in the development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
