Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a registered dietitian to join our healthcare team in Pittsburgh. You will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and enhance quality of life for patients/residents within Kane Dietitians.

You will provide nutrition expertise to the team, educate patients, and ensure compliance with practice standards and regulatory requirements, contributing to quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Passed the national examination administered by the CDR or meets Academy eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments and care planning.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients and staff.
• Follow Academy standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with departments to set up procedures and policies for dining and nutrition.
• Participate in developing and improving continuous quality improvement programs.
