Job summary

Cura-Hospitality is seeking an experienced registered dietitian to join our healthcare team in Pittsburgh. You will assess patients/residents, initiate interventions, and enhance nutritional status in alignment with patient goals.

Responsibilities include educating staff, adhering to standards, collaborating with other departments, and actively contributing to quality improvement programs.

Qualifications

• Must pass the national exam administered by the CDR or meet eligibility requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments and care planning.
• Ability to teach nutrition and dietetics to others.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients and staff.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility regulations.
• Collaborate with departments to set up procedures related to dining and nutrition.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement programs.
