Job summary

Elior North America is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team at Benedictine New Brighton - Innsbruck. You will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and help maintain residents' nutritional status in a non-exempt, hourly environment.

You will collaborate with the health care team, follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Passes the national exam administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Providing nutritional expertise to the health care team and educating patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Following the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interacting with other departments in setting up procedures and policies, and in problem solving as it relates to dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participating in the development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
