Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide nutritional expertise within a hospital dining program and educate patients, residents, and staff. You will collaborate with health care teams to align nutrition services with standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy's eligibility requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years, via the professional portfolio development process.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients, residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments in setting up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participate in developing, reviewing, and revising continuous quality improvement programs.
