Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a qualified professional to lead Clinical Data Strategy and Operations efforts in California. You will align study teams, coordinate cross-functional resources, and drive execution while ensuring compliance with GCP, ICH, and AbbVie SOPs.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and analytics skills, with 3+ years in pharma/clinical data or 5+ years project management, and a Master’s preferred. A hybrid, high-impact environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred; PMP/Lean Six Sigma desired
• 3+ years pharma/clinical research/data management/health care experience or 5+ years project management experience
• Strong understanding of clinical trial process and clinical technology
• Demonstrated effective leadership skills
• Demonstrated ability to influence others without direct authority
• Demonstrated effective communication skills
• Demonstrated effective analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Aligns CDSO study teams with program- and study-level strategies.
• Acts as single point of contact and accountable operational lead from DSS for assigned studies.
• Coordinates CDSO study teams to meet objectives and connects global teams.
• Uses operational analytics and PM tools to optimize execution and track progress.
• Ensures adherence to GCP, ICH, AbbVie SOPs, and regulatory standards.
• Participates in oversight of vendors and provides feedback on performance.
• Coaches and mentors Data Science Associates; may supervise contract resources
• Participates in CDSO and cross-functional innovation and process improvement initiatives
• Contributes to lessons learned across functions
